About ICADSS

The 3rd International Conference on Art, Design and Social Sciences

Leading academic scientists, researchers, and scholars in the field of sociology, communication science, and fine arts come together at the 3rd International Conference on Art, Design and Social Sciences to share and exchange experiences and research findings. Additionally, it offers a top-notch interdisciplinary forum where scholars, professionals, and educators can showcase and converse about the newest advancements, issues, and trends as well as real-world difficulties faced and overcome. The conference is supported by faculty members from King's College London, Cardiff University, University of Wolverhampton, University of Murcia.

To break the barriers of time and space and to provide seamless communication opportunities for worldwide scholars, ICADSS 2024 will be organized distributedly with dispersed venues. Transnational academic workshops are the decentralized co-organisers of ICADSS 2024 and will be held at Sam Houston State University (Huntsville, USA), Beijing Normal University (Beijing, China), and University of Kentucky(Lexington, USA). These workshops focus on more specific topics and may have independent submission and publication processes. Besides these workshops, ICADSS 2024 is a hybrid conference, establishing an online session and welcoming participants from all countries and regions to join whenever and wherever possible.

Prospective authors are encouraged to contribute to and shape the conference by submitting papers and presentation at the conference in all areas of Design Science, Fine Arts, and Sociology, etc. This conference welcomes innovative scholars to participate in order to boost scientific information exchange among researchers, students and industry experts around the world.

Review Process

The submission will first be reviewed for its topic and length, then go through an originality check. The peer-review process will begin soon after the paper is found to be qualified. The paper will be sent to have a double-blind peer review by 2 reviewers. They will judge the paper based on the theme, coverage, innovation, integrity, depth, and language. If the paper is accepted, notification of acceptance and review comments will be sent to the author via email. The actual review time may be different under certain situations.

Publication

Conference Proceedings

Accepted papers of ICADSS 2024 will be published in Communications in Humanities Research (Print ISSN 2753-7064), which will be submitted to Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI), Crossref, CNKI, Portico, Google Scholar and other databases for indexing. The situation may be affected by factors among databases like processing time, workflow, policy, etc.

The papers will be exported to production and publication on a regular basis. Early-registered papers are expected to be published online earlier.

Workshops

This workshop aims to help researchers gain insights into different cultures, experiences, and perspectives, and can develop empathy and understanding. For individual artists and writers, it can be a means of exploring their own emotions and experiences, as well as a way of sharing those experiences with others. read more
